Membership

The Brisbane Chevra Kadisha is run entirely by volunteers but at the same time incurs costs as part of its duty as the Jewish Burial Society. The Brisbane Chevra Kadisha is dependent on subscriptions and bequests to continue its duties which include the maintenance of both Toowong and Mt Gravatt cemeteries, the Jewish Chapel and the Martyr’s Memorial at Mt Gravatt.

The Annual Fees have been kept to a minimum and have remained so for many years.

• $60    Family (Includes non-working children)

• $35   Single

• $40    Families receiving full Centrelink or DVA pension

• $25    Single receiving full Centrelink or DVA pension
